What types of housing programs/solutions are you considering?
- Rapid Rehousing – Rapid re-housing is an intervention, informed by a Housing First approach that is a critical part of a community’s effective homeless crisis response system. Rapid re-housing rapidly connects families and individuals experiencing homelessness to permanent housing through a tailored package of assistance that may include the use of time-limited financial assistance and targeted supportive services.
- Shallow Subsidy – The Shallow Subsidy program provides housing assistance to US Veterans and Veteran families with low to extremely low income. Provided by Supportive Services for Veteran Families (SSVF), this program offers more modest rental support over a longer period of time rather than the traditional Rapid Rehousing (RRH) and Homeless Prevention (HP) programs.
- Permanent Supportive Housing – Permanent Supportive Housing combines affordable housing assistance with voluntary support services to address the needs of those that may need a little extra CARE. Services are designed to build independent living, tenancy skills, and connect individuals with resources to help them continue to thrive.
