Description: When talking about human trafficking, there is a certain perspective of what society understands it to be. There are also those in the community that work with victims of human trafficking but are unaware of it due to the lack of training and education. This training will be able to enhance your knowledge on the issue and learn a different perspective of the topic and go in depth on both sex and labor trafficking. In addition, there will be resources that could be used to if encountered with victims or situations human trafficking. Presented by Chicago Cook County’s Sheriff’s Police Department Anti-Trafficking Outreach Specialist – Cindy Gonzalez.
